Westwind is a dark bay 16hh, 1998, Danish WB/TB, ISR reg. mare by Westmann, (GP Dressage competitor), out of Pappa's Lappin, by Pappagallo. She is started in lateral work, lightly started over fences, and solid w/t/c. A proven producer of 3 spectacular offspring conceived from both A.I. and live cover.

Windy is an extravagant mover with talent and boldness to be a stellar event or dressage prospect. Her temperament and athletic ability would encourage any Amateur to want to compete! She was Hunter Champion Filly at the Northwest Sporthorse Breeder's Classic in 2000 as a 2 yr. old. A delight to ride, gentle to handle, and easy to breed, Windy is a one of a kind horse who will be a wonderful partner for someone with a serious desire to show. Has been in professional training the past year. Sound and healthy, no vices whatsoever. ASKING $15,000.00

TERMS OF SALE

1). A non-refundable deposit of at least 10% of the sales price is required to hold any horse or pony.

The Deposit must be with seller before any vet visits. Without the deposit the horse/pony is still considered as being available FOR SALE and will be campaigned as such even if the vet has already visited and vetted the animal. Once deposit has been received, Buyer will receive notification by email specifying a date agreed to by both parties by which the balance must be paid in full and arrangements made to take ownership and notice will be put up on this web site page stipulating the sale as pending. The deposit and claim to the horse/pony will be forfeited if the balance is not paid by the due date. Deposit is refundable ONLY if horse/pony fails the vet check. Attending Vet must provide proof of problem that caused the buyer to reject the horse/pony to seller before refund is given, showing that the pony is unsuitable for the purpose for which it is being purchased for.

2). Once a deposit (or full payment) is received, buyer is given up to 7 days to have the horse/pony vet checked (if applicable) and have its health and Coggin's papers issued ready for travel (if applicable) and for arrangements to be made for the pony to leave the farm. Starting on day 7 the Buyer will be charged $10.00 per day board until the day of departure and the board fee (if any) must be paid in full before the pony is allowed to leave the farm or must be paid in cash on delivery of said pony if Wye Valley Farm has agreed to transport the pony to it's new home.

3). No horse, registration papers or bill of sale will be transferred until the invoice is paid in full. Registration and transfer fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

4). We accept cash, PAYPAL (plus 3% fee), cashiers checks and personal checks. However, personal checks must clear before the sale is considered final, personal checks can take up to 2 weeks to clear through the Federal Reserve.

5). The cost of delivery is not included in the sale price.

6). No warranties or guarantees are implied or should be assumed unless specified in writing which includes e-mails.

7). All sales are final.

8) Wye Valley Farm is NOT responsible for any accident/injury or sickness of the pony while waiting for transport to be moved to it's new home or if in a boarding situation. Insuring the pony is highly recommended.
